Bethany College's women's soccer coach Steve Moore recently announced the addition of goalkeeper Elizabeth Nwabueze to the Swedes' 2008 recruiting class.

Nwabueze, a recent graduate of George Bush High School, is from Houston, TX.  At George Bush, she was a 2-time All-District performer, HS team MVP her senior year, and also ran track and cross country.  Additionally, Nwabueze played club soccer for West Houston SC and NT Fusion.  Off the athletic fields, she was also involved in Englich Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Theatre Club, Medical Explorers Club, and Technology Student Association.

"Elizabeth is a great addition for us, especially this late in the recruiting process," states Coach Moore.  "She brings up a bit of depth to the GK position, which was something we didn't have last season.  She's a bit raw right now, but she's very athletic, and I think with some GK-specific coaching, she should turn into a fine player for us.  She's also a very well-rounded individual that should mesh really well with the rest of our new players and returners.  I'm definitely excited about Elizabeth's arrival in Lindsborg!"

Nwabueze is the daughter of Sunny and Augustina Nwabueze, and plans to study History and Political Science at Bethany.
