Clayton Goggins, Aurora, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Bethany College for the 2008-2009 academic year.

"We are very pleased to have Clayton Goggins join us here at Bethany College," said head coach Clair Oleen.

Goggins is a 5'8", 150 lb. point guard from Gateway High School. There he was a three-year letterwinner and played both basketball and track. Goggins earned all city honorable mention and 2nd team all league honors. He averaged 10 points per game as well as 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals per game.

"Clayton comes from a tremendous family who are all very active members of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Aurora," continued Coach Oleen. "His brother, Carlton, was an All-RMAC basketball player at Western State. Clayton will be a real fine addition to Bethany basketball."

Goggins has a 3.2 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study business administration.

Goggins is the son of Herman and Pam Goggins.
