William Michael Blue, Junction City, Kan., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2008-2009 academic year.

"We are pleased to have Mike Blue attend Bethany College and join Bethany basketball," said head coach Clair Oleen.

Blue is a 6'5", 185 lb. forward from Junction City High School. There he started played three years of basketball, starting two of those years. He averaged 17 points per game as well as 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and two steals per game. Blue was named most improved player, was awarded All-Europe honors in 2007, and was on the honor roll.

Blue has a 3.3 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study physical education.

Blue is the son of Jerry and Tamara Davis.
