On March 11, 2008, Nadia Armbruster, a distance runner from Smoky Valley High School in Lindsborg, KS, signed letters of intent with the Bethany College Cross Country/Track & Field teams becoming the 2nd member of the women's 2008 cross country team and the 5th member of the track & field team.  She is the daughter of George and Cristina Armbruster and plans on majoring in Biology at Bethany.

Signing a letter of intent with the Bethany College Cross Country/Track & Field teams on February 2, 2008, Larry Martinez, a distance runner from Lyons High School in Lyons, KS, became the 2nd member of the 2008 recruiting class for both teams.  Martinez, the son of Larry and DeeAnn Martinez, has not decided on his college major.
