Seven athletes will compete in the 2008 NAIA Indoor National Track & Field Championships at the Memorial Center in Johnson City, TN, on March 6-8, 2008.  Of the seven athletes who qualified, five of them are ranked in the top 10 in the nation, giving them a shot at earning NAIA All-American Honors and even possibly an individual NAIA National Championship.

At the 2008 Bethany Indoor Last Chance Meet at Stroble-Gibson Gymnasium on February 23, 2008, junior Jessica Becker of Capitan, NM, and senior Nathan Whitcomb of Cottonwood Falls, KS, each improved their school records in their respective events and improved their qualifying marks for the NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Championships that will be held in Johnson City, TN, on March 6-8.

With weather conditions in the upper 50's, Bethany College hosted an extra meet on February 19, 2008, for any teams wanting to take advantage of the warmer weather.  Since Hutchinson Community College was the only team to bring athletes, the two teams competed in the Bethany-Hutch Dual with events being contested in the shot put, the indoor weight, pole vault, and the 200m dash.
