August 5: Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, & Volleyball Newcomer Check In
August 6: Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, & Volleyball Returner Check In
August 6, Morning: Physicals for Football, M/W Soccer, VB Newcomers (AT will assign physical times; $25 cash or check due at the time of physical. Please make checks payable to Salina Regional Health Center. Returners will not need a physical unless otherwise directed by AT/Team Physician. Returners who do not need a physical will complete this waiver.)
August 15: Cross Country, Cheer & Dance Check In
August 16: Cross Country, Cheer & Dance Newcomer Physicals ($25 cash or check due at the time of physical. Please make checks payable to Salina Regional Health Center. Returners will not need a physical unless otherwise directed by AT/Team Physician. Returners who do not need a physical will complete this waiver.)
August 19: Freshmen Check In
August 19 (Afternoon)-August 23: Valkommen Week (freshmen orientation)
August 22: Returner/Transfer Check In

If you have primary insurance, you MUST upload your card to opt-out of Bethany’s insurance program (and not be charged).

To waive insurance using your own primary insurance: https://www.firststudent.com/school_detail/waive-your-schools-insurance-bethany-college/

If you do not have valid primary insurance, you must enroll through United Healthcare Student Resources Plan. International students will automatically be enrolled in the United Healthcare Student Resources Plan and cannot opt-out.

Deadline to submit proof of other insurance is August 31, 2022.

Complete physical and orthopedic screening:

Physicals and orthopedic screenings for fall student-athlete newcomers will be completed on the Bethany College campus on August 6, 2022 by Bethany College Athletic Trainers, our team physician (Dr. Pyle), and his team. The cost of the physicals is $25; student-athletes must have cash or check at the time of the physical. Please make checks payable to SRHC. This is MANDATORY and NO other physicals will be accepted. Returners will not need a physical, unless otherwise instructed by AT/Dr. Pyle. Returners who do not need a physical will complete this waiver.

Physicals and orthopedic screenings for winter and spring student-athlete newcomers will be completed on the Bethany College campus on a date to be determined by Bethany College Athletic Trainers, our team physician (Dr. Pyle), and his team. The cost of the physicals is $25; student-athletes must have cash or check at the time of the physical. Please make checks payable to SRHC. This is MANDATORY and NO other physicals will be accepted. Returners will not need a physical, unless otherwise instructed by AT/Dr. Pyle. Returners who do not need a physical will complete this waiver.

If deemed necessary, further evaluation in-clinic will result in charges to students’ primary insurance.

*******Please note: Bethany does verify insurance throughout the academic year. Any lapse in coverage will result in automatic enrollment in insurance through United Healthcare Student Resources.

All new student-athletes will have a charge for UHC’s insurance. The charge will be removed by Bethany once qualifying insurance is verified. The deadline to verify/purchase insurance for the Fall 2022 semester is August 31, 2022.
