SWEDES DROP SERIES AGAINST OUR LADY OF THE LAKE UNIVERSITY

San Antonio, Tex. -  In the final game of the series the Swedes watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-1 loss to Our Lady of the Lake University.

The Swedes struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Our Lady of the Lake University, giving up 11 runs.

In the first inning, Our Lady of the Lake University started the scoring early as they were able to score two runs in the first inning. The offense could not be stopped as they scored another one in the fourth and seven in the sixth inning. 

The lone run for the Swedes came in the third inning when Andrew Massey leadoff the inning with a double off the center field wall. Noel Perez stepped up to the plate with Massey now on third base and drove an RBI single to left field. 

Willard Frizzell took the loss for the Swedes. The two way pitcher lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out three. Nick Flores came in relief and went one inning, allowing two hits, four runs, three walks. Carlos Guzman went in after Flores and went an inning allowing four runs on three hits, two walks. 

Noel Perez led Swedes with two hits in three at bats. The Swedes were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error in the game.
