York, Neb. - The Bethany College Baseball team traveled to York University for the second game of a 3-game series that will end next weeks. The Swedes are looking to get one back after falling in the series in the first game.
Game
At the beginning of the game, the Swedes would start off strong and score 4 runs in the first inning. Later on in the game, the Swedes would extend their lead by 7 runs to 2. It was a steep hill to climb for the Panthers but the Swedes seemed to have it under control. Around the 5th inning, the Swedes would start to allow runs to gradually be scored until the Panthers came back and held a strong lead of their own. Unfortunately for the Swedes, the Panthers would come back and win the game 11-13. Caleb Copeland had 4 hits and stood out in this game.

The Bethany College Baseball team will return to Lindsborg next week to face off against York for the 3rd game between the two teams. The Swedes knowing they can handle themselves well will make it difficult again for the Panthers.
