SWEDES FALL TO COUGARS

Lindsborg, Kan. - On Thursday, March 9, the Swedes League of Legends team battled the Columbia Cougars in a best of one series in the penultimate game of the KCAC Spring 2023 League of Legends regular season. The Swedes would fall to the Cougars in 22:45, outlasting their previous longest game against the Cougars (19:52) from earlier in the semester. This time around, the Swedes were able to compete well with the high-ranked Cougars, trading early kills back and forth. Eventually, the Cougars team would begin to snowball and the Swedes would ultimately trail in the kills department 13-29 upon completion. Junior ADC Kobe "BarretCraig" Samake-Kranjc would lead the Swedes with six kills in the game, while sophomore Jungler Jonny "Citrus" Threlkeld would post three.
