SWEDES SWEEP MOUNTAINEERS TO REMAIN UNBEATEN

Lindsborg, Kan. - On Wednesday March 22, the Swedes League of Legends team took down the Western Colorado Mountaineers in swift 2-0 fashion to keep their perfect season alive.

 

Now at 9-0 in the NECC this semester, the Swedes League of Legends team looks to finish their perfect regular season as they take on Colorado College and the University of Hawaii - West Oahu next Wednesday. 

 

In the Mountaineers series, the Swedes would be led by Sophomore Kort "Talamod" Sjogren's 19-2 statline, highlighted by his 15-1 performance in Game 2. Junior ADC Kobe "BarretCraig" Samake-Kranjc would follow up Talamod with a 17-1 statline, including a perfect 10-0 performance in Game 2. The Swedes CS leader would be BarretCraig as well, with 429 in the series, as he would also collect a team-high 25,504 gold. 

 

The final two NECC matchups occur on Wednesday March 29, as the Swedes take on Colorado College at 9pm and the University of Hawaii - West Oahu immediately following. Those matches can be viewed on the Swedes Esports Twitch page.
