CALL OF DUTY GOLD FALLS IN 3 TO UTD

Lindsborg, Kan. - On Tuesday, March 21, the Swedes Gold Call of Duty team would battle closely with the Comets of UT-Dallas, but ultimately fall in the series via 0-3 scoreline.

 

The Swedes would come out strong on Map 1 Hydro Hardpoint, but would lack the map positioning required to close it out, falling 229-250. Map 2 would be much of the same for the Swedes, as they would fall 4-6 after several close rounds of Asilo Search and Destroy. Map 3 would prove to be another close-fought battle, with the Swedes coming out with a 1-3 loss on Hotel Control, and they would fall 0-3 in the series.

 

The Swedes would be led in slaying by Junior Chris "Toxic" Yoder, who would post 57 kills and a 1.08 K/D ratio. Junior Hayley "Burry" Berry would follow Toxic in the kills column, posting 51 of her own. 

 

 

The next matchup for the Swedes Gold Call of Duty team comes on Tuesday, March 28, as they take on Texas A&M University at 8pm, and New Mexico State University at 9:30pm. Those matches can be viewed at the Swedes Esports Twitch page.
