SWEDES C.O.D. FALLS TO #1

C.O.D. GOLD FALLS TO TAMU, NMSU

Lindsborg, Kan. - On Tuesday March 28, the Bethany Swedes Gold Call of Duty team battled with a pair of Aggie opponents, first falling to Texas A&M before falling to New Mexico State.

In the Texas A&M series, the Swedes would compete well in the Hardpoint before dropping three straight maps. A 195-250 loss on Mercado Hardpoint in Map 1 would be the Swedes best showing on the evening, as they would fall 0-6 on Hotel Search and Destroy before falling 0-3 on Hotel Control. The Swedes would be led in the series by Junior Chris "Toxic" Yoder, who posted 33 kills. Junior Hayley "Burry" Berry would follow up Toxic with 27 kills of her own in the series.

Against New Mexico State, the Swedes would suffer a second 0-3 loss. The Swedes would fall in three straight Hotel maps, 143-250 in Hardpoint, 2-6 in Search and Destroy, and 0-3 in Control. Once again, Toxic would lead the Swedes with 37 kills in the series, followed by Burry's 31. The Swedes have three remaining regular season matches, as they try to lock in a playoff spot in the CCL Academy Midwest region.
