Westbrook Recipient of All-KCAC Champions of Character Award
Wichita, Kan. - The Kansas
Collegiate Athletic Conference is proud to recognize the All-KCAC
Football Champions of Character award winners for the 2010-11 season.
Bethany College student Andrew Westbrook, a junior member of the football team from Canton, Kan., has received the all-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Champions of Character Award for the 2010-2011 season. He is the son of Marvin and Darla Westbrook and is majoring in mathematics and engineering while at Bethany.
Recipients need to have demonstrated the Champion of Character core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership in addition to several other requirements.
All athletes are nominated by their team's head coach.

All-KCAC KCAC Champion of Character Award recognizes continuing
student-athletes who have participated in intercollegiate athletics for a
minimum of one full academic year.
Criteria for being selected for the All-KCAC Champion of CharacterAward are:
Criteria for being selected for the All-KCAC Champion of CharacterAward are:
1. Identified as a full-time student in good standing.
2. Be currently participating in a varsity intercollegiate program.
3. One full academic year of full-time status and participation in the varsity intercollegiate sport program.
4. Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
5. Students may be nominated and receive the COC Award up to 3 times during their career, provided the above criteria are met.All athletes are nominated by their team's head coach.
