Sixteen football Swedes earn KCAC honors
Sixteen members of the Bethany College football team earned post-season Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) honors for their efforts during the 2011 season.
| Junior Allen, a junior running back from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., received first team All-KCAC honors. Allen averaged 4.8 yards per carry and broke the school record for rushing attempts in a season with 345. Allen was also named the KCAC Offensive Player of the Year. He is ranked first in the NAIA in all-purpose yards (1,837), second in total rushing (1,404), second in rushing yards per game (127.6), and third in all-purpose yards per game (167). |
| Alex Fambrough, a senior kicking specialist from Tyler, Texas, received first team All-KCAC honors. Fambroughbroke the school's field goal record in a season with 17. He also broke the previous school record of field goals in a game and tied the NAIA record with six. He is ranked first in the NAIA in both field goals per game (1.50) and total field goals (17). He is ranked second in total scoring in a season with 89 points scored and fourth in scoring per game with 8.1 points scored per contest. Fambrough was also named the KCAC Special Teams Player of the Year. |
| Darby House, a junior quarterback from Skidmore, Texas, received second team All-KCAC honors. House passed for 2,474 yards this season, averaging 224.9 yards per game. He also threw 21 touchdown passes. House is ranked twelfth in the NAIA in total passing (2,475). |
| Brandon Martino, a junior wide receiver from Junction City, Kan., received second team All-KCAC honors. Martino had 54 receptions for 713 yards, an average of 13.2 yards per reception, and eight touchdowns. He is ranked eleventh in the NAIA for receptions per game (5.4). |

| Ira Autrey, a senior defensive back from Pasadena, Texas, received second team all-KCAC honors. Autrey had 27 solo tackles and ten assisted tackles on the season. He had four interceptions, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick. |
| Michael Baker, a junior linebacker from Lindsborg, Kan., received second-team all-KCAC honors. Baker had 26 solo tackles and 33 assisted tackles and recorded one sack for an eight-yard loss. He also had one interception, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. |
| Cody Ratcliffe, a sophomore wide receiver from Halstead, Kan., received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. Ratcliffe had 34 receptions for 438 yards for an average of 12.9 yards per reception and five touchdowns on the season. |
| Chad Wollenberg, a sophomore fullback from Hesston, Kan., received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. In six games played, Wollenberg had four receptions for 30 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed twice for ten yards. |
| Kyle Shirley, a junior tight end from West Covina, Calif., received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. In three games played, Shirley had three receptions for 51 yards. |
| Tyler Vogt, a senior offensive lineman from Santa Maria, Calif., received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. His play helped the Swedes maintain a potent offense throughout the season. |
| Andrew Westbrook, a senior defensive back from Canton, Kan., received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. Westbrook had 20 solo tackles and 29 assisted tackles. He also had one interception and one fumble recovery. |
| Milton Collins, a junior linebacker from Baytown, Texas, received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. Collins had 39 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, and recorded three sacks for a loss of 17 yards. He also forced one fumble. |
| Rocky Castro, a sophomore defensive lineman from Santa Fe, Texas, received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. Castro had eight solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles and recorded one sack. |
| Steven Williams, a sophomore defensive lineman from Houston, Texas, received honorable mention All-KCAC honors. Williams had 40 solo tackles, 31 assisted tackles, and recorded five sacks for a loss of 34.5 yards. He also forced one fumble. |
The Swedes finished the season 8-3 overall and 6-3 in conference play, giving them a third place finish in the KCAC.
