A letter from Head Football Coach Jamie Cruce

A letter from Head Football Coach Jamie Cruce

Thank you to all of the fans and alumni for their continued support of Bethany College Football. Here is an update on what our team has been doing and what is to come this spring.

Our players have been involved with several community service projects, including helping with power lifting meets at Smoky Valley, Augusta, and the 5A State meet in Abilene. We also were once again involved with the Special Olympics basketball event held at Southeast of Saline high school. Our guys will also continue their yearly involvement with elementary classes in coming weeks. We are very proud of these young men for giving their time to help others.

Aside from these activities, our team is halfway through their off-season workouts. The team works out at 6 a.m. four days per week. Their work ethic will pay dividends as we prepare for the upcoming season. We will also conduct spring practices during the month of April, which will culminate in a spring game on Saturday, April 28.

This is an exciting time as we continue to develop our team for a run at the 2012 conference championship. There will be a lot of talented teams on our schedule again next season, but with the continued hard work of our current players and a sustained recruiting effort by our staff, the Swedes will have an opportunity for success this coming Fall.

Our players and staff enjoy hearing from our alumni and supporters. Please feel free to contact us if we can be of any service to you or if you would like to simply touch base.

Thank you and Go Swedes!
