High School Activities and Honors: Lettered in football and basketball at Alvin High School. Erik was a Texas Scholar, a 2 time 24-5A Honorable Mention defensive lineman, Comeback Player of the Year for basketball, and Iron Man Award recipient for basketball.

Personal Information: Erik is the of Cristina and Thomas Soliz. He has one brother, Anthony Soliz. Erik is majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. After graduation, Erik has plans to become a police officer or work in the parole system in the Houston area.
