SWEDES STRUGGLE IN SEASON-OPENER

Newton, Ks. The Bethany College Men's Golf team took down the road to Newton, Ks. to partake in the Mid-South hosted by Grand View. 

As a team, the Swedes placed 14th, but had some solid rounds throughout the event. Mads Hasenschwandtner placed the best out of the Swedes shooting a 224 (+8) resulting in a 36th place finish overall. Hasenschwandtner played his best ball in the second-round shooting for par (72). Will Briggs placed 53th overall with a 229 (+13) with his best round being Round 2 where he shot a strong 70 (-2). Aiden Lynch ended up shooting 239 (+23). Luke Riney 246 (+30) and Taylor Hardin 261 (+49) rounded up the first tournament of the season for the Swedes.
