SWEDES FALL TO NO. 8 EAGLES

Bartlesville, Okla. - The Bethany College Men's Soccer Team took the road to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles who are currently ranked No. 8 in the nation.

Oklahoma Wesleyan wasted no time getting on the board, scoring four goals in the first half. The second half wasn't much better for the Swedes as the Eagles would add three more. Bethany was unable to put one on the board in this match as the Eagles would take it 7-0.

Throughout the contest, the Swedes were only able to muster three shots on the afternoon with none on goal. Jake Goldstein was able to reach double-digits in saves with 10 in 17 chances.

The Swedes will end their season with a 2-game home stand. Up first will be our rivals from the north, the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm in Lindsborg, Kansas at Dr. Ted Kessinger Family Stadium following the completion of the women's match.
