SWEDES END SEASON AT THE HANDS OF #1 SEED THRESHERS

Lindsborg, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Men's Tennis team ended their spectacular season with a match against the #1-seeded Bethel College Threshers in the second round of the KCAC Spring Tennis Championships.

The Swedes lost the doubles points two to one. but the #3 duo of Dylan Gwilt and Diego Bsereni won their match 7-5. In singles play, the Swedes played the Threshers tough. Although the Threshers won 4-1, the Swedes pushed multiple matches to a third set.

This marks the end of the Swedes Men's Tennis season. They capped it off with their second playoff appearance in as many years and won their first playoff match since 2017 when the Swedes went to the finals.
