Swedes Fall on the Road to USAO Drovers

Lindsborg, KS... 

       Tuesday November 8th the Swedes traveled to Chickasha, OK to face off the USAO Drovers. The Swedes started off strong with a layup by Sarah Reiner in the first 10 seconds of the game. The Swedes had a total of 9 rebounds the first quarter with a score of 9 to 19 with the Drovers in the lead. In the second half, Emily Green made a jump shot in the 7th minute. The Swedes had a total of 10 rebounds in the second quarter. The second quarter ended 18-30. The Swedes had a total of 10 rebounds the third quarter with the score ending 27-42. The Swedes had a total of 15 rebounds in the fourth quarter and finished out the game 37-58.

        Emily Green was the leading goal scorer for the Swedes with 7 points, 1 assist and 5 rebounds. Autumn Garrett, Lauren Gleason and Kennedy Becker all came in second for points scored with 4. 

The Swedes battled hard but were unlucky in their efforts to secure the win.
