ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT LEADS TO KENNBORN 3RD PLACE FINISH

Hesston, Kan. – The Women's Golf team took a short trip to Hesston, Kansas to participate in the Hesston Spring Shootout hosted by Tabor College.

When we say "short" we mean it! The tournament, which was originally scheduled for two days, was cut down to one resulting in the women playing a total of 36 holes consecutively. The reason for the change was due to poor weather.

Elin Kennborn finished in a tie for 3rd place with a total score of 163 (+21). Alyssa Cardenas placed 13th with a total score of 172 (+32) and Allison Applequist finished with a final score of 178 (+38) to end tied for 20th.

Up Next…

The Women's team, as well as the Men's team, is set to host the Bethany College Classic in Newton, Kan. at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course. Play is set to begin at 9:00 am.
