Swedes Defeated by Southwestern at Home

LINDSBORG, KAN. - The Bethany College Swedes matched up against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders Saturday night. 

The Swedes had a total of 2 shots on goal compared to Southwestern's 8 shots on goal. Three goals were conceded by the Swedes during this match up, one of them in the first half of action. The remaining two goals were scored in the second half, one off of a corner kick. The Swedes had a couple opportunities during the game but were just unlucky in finding the back of the net. Overall, the Swedes fought until the end of the 90th minute.

Mackenzie Nutter played as goal keeper for the game and managed to have 4 saves. Skyler Armstorng and Emily Mockricky had a couple of opportunities but just hit the ball wide.
