Wednesday night the Bethany Swedes kicked off against the McPherson Bulldogs. The Swedes started off strong regardless of McPherson's early goal in the 16th minute. The Swedes quickly responded to the goal by scoring in the 24th minute by Meloine Bacca with an assist from Ariana Hurley. In the 34th minute the Bulldogs secured the ball in the back of the net for their second goal. The final goal by the Bulldogs was scored in the 54th minute.
The Swedes had a total of four shots in the first half, two by Melissa Estrada both that went wide, one by Leonela Flores that hit the crossbar and one by Meloine Baca that went high. In the second half the Swedes had a total of three shots, two by Skyler Armstrong and one by Melissa Estrada. The Swedes played hard but were just unlucky in their fight against the Bulldogs.
