SWEDES SUFFER 3-0 LOSS TO BRAVES

LINDSBORG, KAN. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer team hosted the Ottawa University Braves in a KCAC regular season matchup in which the Braves would take 3-0.

Both teams displayed plenty of skill and determination throughout the entire 90 minutes. Weather played a huge factor in this matchup as the Swedes would begin the match playing into the wind. The Braves would utilize mother nature's help by attacking from virtually everywhere on the field leading to a goal in the first half to put the Braves up 1-0 by halftime.

Ottawa would put up two more goals in the second half to take this one 3-0.

Mackenzie Nutter had a solid day defending the goal tallying 8 saves including stopping a couple of fast breaks.

The Swedes are set to hit the road Wednesday, October 4^th, to face the York University Panthers in York, Nebraska. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm.
