Leavenworth, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer Team to the road to Leavenworth, Kansas to take on the University of Saint Mary's Spires in the KCAC matchup.

The first half was fairly quiet as neither team was able to get on the board. It wouldn't be for lack of trying though, as nine shots were taken between the two teams, but only three were on goal.

The Spires would strike quick in the second half in part of three unanswered goals to take the match 3-0.

Mackenzie Nutter drew the start in-goal for Bethany. Nutter would tally 5 saves on the afternoon.

The Swedes play host to the McPherson College Bulldogs on Wednesday, October 11th. Kickoff is set for 5pm at the Coach Ted K. Kessinger Family Stadium.
