SWEDES FALL TO TIGERS AND BULLDOGS IN UNIQUE DOUBLEHEADER
Lindsborg, Kan. – On March 8, the Women's Tennis team had quite a busy day. To start it off, the Swedes traveled to Hays, Kan. to take on the Fort Hays State University Tigers at 11:00 AM. Shortly afterwards, the Swedes would travel back to Lindsborg, Kan. to take on the Concordia University Bulldogs at 4:00 PM.
Match 1: Swedes 1, Tigers 6
The doubles point went the Tigers way as they would take all three doubles matches. In singles, Sofia Castillo Paz would garner the only win for the Swedes taking her match with a decisive 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Match 2: Swedes 1, Bulldogs 6
Match 2 was fairly similar to the first as the Bulldogs would take all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point. In the singles matches, Makenna Russom was the sole winner for the Swedes defeating Tessa Blough in three sets (4-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-6)).

Both Swede Tennis teams are scheduled to begin conference play Tuesday, March 11, as they host our rivals from up north, the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes. Play is set to start at 3:00 PM, so remember to wear your blue!
