SWEDES COMPETE IN UNK PRE-HOLIDAY CLASSIC

Kearney, Neb. - The Bethany College Indoor Track & Field Teams competed in their first competition of the season.

The Swedes traveled a smaller squad of 24 student-athletes before travelling their full squad in 2024.

Head Coach Aaron Yoder on how his team's performances: "It was a great kick off before we break for the holidays. (We) were up against 2 Division II teams which made for great competition. With a shorter track, this was a great opener and gives us valuable experience moving into the rest of the indoor track and field season."

Overall, the Swedes had 13 personal bests, 6 events finalists, and 2 top-3 finishies:

Braydon Pratt- Weight Throw (10.24m)

Calvin Range- 600 yard (1:19.4)

Tyler Blackmom-Weight Throw (6.54m)

Tristen Dye-800m (2:06.0) converted time 2:03
