CLAUSSEN EARNS KCAC OUTDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Wichita, Kan. - Taylor Claussen of Bethany College has earned the KCAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors the conference office announced Monday. Claussen was selected for her performance in Winfield, Kansas at the Jinx Invitational by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Claussen had a great opening meet as she hit the NAIA "A" Qualifying Standard in the Javelin Throw this weekend. Claussen hit the "B" Standard on her very first throw, but during the final, she exploded for a throw of 42.11 meters on her final throw which now places her sixth in the NAIA.
