SWEDES COMPETE IN CONNER OPPENHEIM OPEN

Crete, Neb. – The Bethany College Swedes Wrestling team competed in the Conner OpPenheim Open hosted by Doane University this weekend. The tournament featured north of 40 teams from Oregon to North Carolina and in-between.

The Swedes sent four wrestlers and each wrestler wrestled twice. Freshman Arnez Woods had the best outing of the Swedes. Woods lost both of his matches, but they both went full time. He lost the first by 10-4 decision and the second by 5-4 decision.

The Swedes have a week to prepare for their next meet as they are set to compete in the Cougar Open hosted by Barton Community College on Sunday, December 14.
