Beachum Signs Basketball Letter of Intent

Jimmy "Trey" Beachum, Lewisville, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2008-2009 academic year.
"We are pleased to have Trey choose to study Pre-Med at Bethany and join our basketball program," head coach Clair Oleen said.
Beachum is 6'1", 185 lb. point guard from Flower Mound High School in Flower Mound. There he was a two-year Captain and All Defensive Player averaging 14 ppg and 6 rebounds per game.
"Trey is a real fine athlete and young man who will be an asset to our program," Oleen said.
Beachum has a 3.2 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to take part of the college's pre-medicine program. .
Beachum is the son of Jimmy and Valaska Beachum.
