S. CLAYTON NAMED TO 2022 KCAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON TEAM
Wichita, Kan. - The KCAC announced the 2022 KCAC Men's Basketball Preseason Team, as voted on by the KCAC men's basketball head coaches. The group consisted of four seniors, four juniors, and two graduate students.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University led the conference with three honoress on the preseason team. Southwestern College and Bethel College were not far behind with each institution having two players recognized. Bethany College, Kansas Wesleyan University, and Avila University each had one honoree to round out the preseason team.
Solomon Clayton, a senior from Fort Dodge, Iowa, represented Bethany on the 2022 KCAC Men's Basketball Preseason Team. Last year, Clayton was recognized as All-KCAC First Team at the completion on last years regular season. Solomon also earned NAIA Player of the Week back in January when he averaged 32.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg, and 2.0 apg on top of a double-double against the Threshers.
