SWEDES BACK TO .500 AFTER LOSS TO OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN EAGLES

Bartlesville, Okla. - The Bethany Men's Basketball team traveled to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to play the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles. The Swedes left with their second conference loss of the season, dropping the game 49-64. 

The first half started off with both teams going back and forth and staying within a few points of each other. The Swedes tied the game at 14 points with 10:55 minutes left on the clock. From there the Eagles went on a ten point run making the score 14-24. With a layup, a couple free throws, and a jump shot the Swedes made the score 23-27. The Eagles kept adding on and ended the first half 28-41. The Eagles continued the trend in the second half and the Swedes were unable to regain the momentum, dropping the game 49-64. 

Dylan Smith scored 11 points with 2 steals and 1 block. Azeem Ross scored 8 points on the night along with 1 steal and had 3 assists.

The Swedes will be back in action after Thanksgiving on Monday, November 28th against Ottawa University. The Swedes will host the Braves with tip off happening at 8:00PM.
