S. CLAYTON EARNS KCAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wichita, Kan. - On Monday, the KCAC announced that Solomon Clayton earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Clayton was nominated for this honor due to his performances from January 23rd – 29th.
Solomon Clayton is the second Swede this season to win weekly honors. Justin Brookens won Offensive Player of the Week in November.

The Swedes have been on an absolute tear lately, upsetting another nationally ranked team in #2 Oklahoma Wesleyan and going 3-0 last week. Clayton has been a big reason for the Swedes' success, averaging a double-double on the week. He has been a monster on defense, totaling six steals and eight blocks this week, and becoming the new all-time leader in blocks for the Swedes.
