LINDSBORG, KAN. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer team hosted the Ottawa University Braves in a KCAC regular season matchup in which the Braves would take 3-0.
Mother Nature's hand wasn't much of a factor in this one as the wind from the south died down just before kickoff. In the 22nd minute, Ottawa would find the back of the net by way of a corner kick-turned-header. The Braves would lead 1-0 at the break.
Ottawa would add another two goals to take this one 3-0.
Jake Goldstein had a solid day defending the goal tallying 9 saves including an impressive save where Goldstein stopped the attacking Braves offense. The Braves had no one but Goldstein between them and the goal for 50 yards, but Jake would run up and deflect the ball for a throw-in.
