The Bethany College Swedes matched up against the Central Christian Tigers starting Saturday August 27th where a lightening delay caused the teams to finish the last 35 minutes of the game tonight Monday September 5th.
The Swedes had a total of 18 shots compared to Central Christians 11 shots. The Swedes scored a total of 3 goals with 1 in the first half at minute 6:19 by Ariana Hurley assisted by Skyler Armstrong. The following 2 goals were scored in the second half at minute 47 by Skyler Armstrong assisted by Paige Henry. The final goal by the Swedes was scored in the 54th minute by Melo Baca with an assist from Melissa Estrada. The goal from Central Christian was a result of a penalty kick which resumed the game on Monday at the 35th minute.
