LINDSBORG, KS-The Bethany College Swedes matched up against the Hastings College Broncos Wednesday night for their home opener.
The Swedes managed to sink a goal in the net of the Broncos within the first 10 minutes. The Bronocs first goal was not scored until the 37th minute of the first half. The Swedes however shortly after had an unlucky second half as four goals were conceded to the Broncos. The Swedes did have opportunities during the game but were just unlucky in finding those finishing touches. While the Swedes did not get the results, they anticipated they played with heart until the final whistle.
Starting keeper Ashlynn Bolieu had a total of 2 saves until an injury took her out for the reminder of the game. Following her injury goal keeper Mackenzie Nutter took over and had a total of 5 saves.
